Second Glances
Stuck in the airport for four hours. As I walked across the airport MEN were looking me up and down! OMG – I can’t recall the last time that happened! People checking me out!!!
When you lose weight get ready and use to “second glances”. Some people, especially if they haven’t seen you in awhile will either:
- stare at you, trying to figure out what is different about you
- notice right away and ask how did you do it
- say, “there is something different about you, you’ve changed”
- FREAK OUT!

Florida and My New Dress
Speaking at the Feng Shui Institute International in Marco Island, FL in my new dress size 8!
My presentation was called, CHAOS: An Investigation Into the Feelings, Emotions, Beliefs, and Patterns of the Science of Why We Clutter. This presentation and research is a step towards me becoming a Feng Shui Master in 2011.
My Feng Shui sisters FREAKED out when they saw me after losing weight with Take Shape For Life. None of them had ever seen me small, as I use to be. The last time most of them saw me I had just about peaked to a size 18 dress!

We all went shopping at this little boutique on Marco Island and I had a BLAST buying new clothes and all my feng shui sisters had a blast HELPING me!

Vitamin D: What is it?
Every year in the winter I seem to have a Vitamin D deficiency. As a matter of fact most people north of the state of Alabama also either have a Vit. D deficiency or a drop during the winter months.
“Vit. D is a fat soluble vitamin that is found in food and can also be made in your body after exposure to ultraviolet (UV) rays from the sun. Sunshine is a significant source of Vit. D because the UV rays from sunshine trigger Vit. D synthesis in the skin.
Vit. D exists in several forms, each with a different level of activity. Calciferol is the most active form.
The major biologic function of Vit. D is to maintain normal blood levels of calcium and phosphorus. By promoting calcium absorption, Vit. D helps to form and maintain strong bones.”

How do you spell Stress Relief? Aromatherapy!
Therapeutic Essential Oils or aromatherapy are NOT air fresheners to candles that you see advertised and plastered on everything in the stores. Most of what is advertised are synthetic, man made, and are not legitimate healing, therapeutic essential oils.
Therapeutic Essential Oils or aromatherapy can assist you with stress. As you know in the post about EFT, stress is a BIG issue when it comes to cravings and over eating.
One of my favorite oils to recommend is Young Living’s Peace and Calming Oil. This essential oil is a blend that contains and is helpful for the following:

Blue Tansy: Helps to overcome anger and negative emotions

I always have a bottle of Peace and Calming with me when I travel, especially when I am required to drive on super highways – don’t like them too much. I generally put some on a cotton ball and will sometimes put that in a baggie to keep it fresh in case I need to smell it and sometimes I’ll put the cotton ball in my car’s AC/Heating vents and then sometimes I just put a drop or two in my hands, rub together and rub on me!
Hey you know what? My dog, Brunno, loves it too! I put some on him when a thunderstorm is approaching and it really helps calm him down.
I highly recommend you get Peace and Calming!
